MONTREAL - Here are five things you need to know ahead of Tuesday night's game against the Calgary Flames at the Bell Centre.

1. Following Tuesday's morning skate at the Bell Sports Complex, head coach Claude Julien confirmed that defenseman Victor Mete will return to the lineup against the Flames after watching the last two games from the sidelines with a minor injury. Karl Alzner will be a healthy scratch. Up front, both Charles Hudon and Nikita Scherbak will be healthy scratches as well.

2. Carey Price will get the start in goal for the Canadiens and have another shot at tying Hall-of-Famer Patrick Roy for second spot on the Canadiens' all-time wins list among goaltenders with 289 victories. Price turned aside 30 of 34 shots against in last Saturday night's 4-3 overtime loss to the Senators at the Canadian Tire Centre. Jacques Plante sits atop the category with 314 victories to his credit.

3.Jordie Benn will be playing the 400th game of his NHL career, which began back on January 3, 2012 with the Dallas Stars. The 31-year-old defenseman, who is still seeking his first point of the 2018-19 campaign, is averaging 16:05 of ice time per outing so far this season, which ranks him sixth among the Habs' rearguards in that department.

4.The Flames have won three of their last four games and are coming off a 4-1 win over the New York Rangers on Sunday night at Madison Square Garden. Johnny Gaudreau leads Calgary with five goals and 12 points through eight games. Matthew Tkachuk is also enjoying a strong start to the season with three goals and 10 points in eight appearances as well. David Rittich will get the start in goal for the Flames.
5. Tuesday night's contest marks the first of 10 scheduled University Nights at the Bell Centre, providing students enrolled at participating universities the opportunity to purchase tickets in the Coors Light Zone for only $39.
