MONTREAL - Here are five things you need to know ahead of Wednesday night's preseason game between the Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Bell Centre

1. On Monday night, the Canadiens handed the Maple Leafs their first loss of the preseason, downing head coach Mike Babcock's contingent by a score of 5-1 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Artturi Lehkonen led the way up front with the two goals for the Habs, while Xavier Ouellet chipped in with a pair of goals from the back end. Charles Hudon registered the other tally, capping a highlight-reel spin-o-rama move with his second goal of the preseason.

2. While Babcock didn't feature any of his top offensive weapons for the previous encounter, they'll all be in uniform in Montreal, including John Tavares, Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner, Nazem Kadri and Patrick Marleau. Frederik Andersen and Calvin Pickard will be the goaltenders on the trip.

3. Finnish phenom Jesperi Kotkaniemi will get another opportunity to strut his stuff in front of the Habs' brass on Wednesday night. It will mark his fifth outing of the preseason.

4. The Canadiens trimmed down their training camp roster from 43 players to 33 players on Tuesday as head coach Claude Julien continues to narrow down his group ahead of the start of the regular season which begins in just one week - on Wednesday, October 3 - in Toronto.
5.Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on TV on TSN2, TSN4 and RDS, as well as on TSN Radio 690 and 98,5 fm on the radio. To purchase tickets for the game,
