KANATA -- Like interim head coach Martin St-Louis said, the Canadiens are on a roll.

They're looking to extend their winning streak to five games in their first matchup of the season against the Senators.
The Habs are coming off a convincing 4-0 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night at the Bell Centre.
Nick Suzuki scored twice, including a penalty shot tally, while Cole Caufield scored his fourth goal in the last four games. Jake Evans also scored his seventh goal of the season and Sam Montembeault recorded the first shutout of his NHL career.

Unfortunately, Montreal was forced to finish the contest without Paul Byron and Josh Anderson.
Byron suffered an upper-body injury that will keep him out of the lineup. There's no timetable for his return.
Anderson, however, is expected to play versus Ottawa after taking a puck to the face in the second period.

With Byron on the sidelines, Mathieu Perreault will suit up and play his first game since December 14. He's returning from a lower-body injury.
The other lineup change involves goaltender Andrew Hammond facing his former team. He played 55 games for the Senators between 2014 and 2016.
Hammond enjoyed the best moments of his career in the nation's capital. In the spring of 2015, the Canadian netminder shocked the hockey world by a posting a remarkable 20-1-2 record, 1.79 goals-against and .941 save percentage to lead Ottawa to the playoffs.
At the other end of the rink, the Senators (19-26-5) are looking for their second straight win after posting a 4-3 victory over the Minnesota Wild.
D.J. Smith's squad sits sixth in the Atlantic Division with a 5-4-1 record in their last 10 games.
Colin White will play his first game of the season after recovering from offseason shoulder surgery.
Ottawa was eagerly anticipating White's return since top offensive weapons Josh Norris and Drake Batherson are out.
Tim Stützle has stepped up with four goals in his last five games, but captain Brady Tkachuk leads the group with 37 points in 47 games.
Quebec-born defenseman Thomas Chabot is enjoying another strong campaign with 27 points in 46 games, including a three-point performance against Minnesota.
Chabot is the most utilized player in the NHL, averaging 26:48 of ice time per game.
