TORONTO - The Canadiens' and Penguins' specialty teams saw plenty of action in Game 2.
Following an opening tilt on Saturday that saw the Habs kill off six of the Pens' seven opportunities with the man advantage, the team's penalty killers were once again called on to play some heavy minutes on Monday.

The Canadiens were dinged with seven penalties through the first two periods alone in Game 2, with Pittsburgh taking a few PIMs of their own.
The Habs managed to snuff out all five Penguins' PP chances thanks in no small part to Carey Price's steady work between the pipes. The All-World netminder stopped 35 of the 37 shots he faced, bringing his 2020 postseason save total to 74 through two games thus far.

Despite trailing 29-13 in shots through 40 minutes, the Canadiens managed to skate into the second intermission down just 1-0, after Sidney Crosby notched his 188th career playoff point with a five-hole goal to open the scoring in the opening frame.

Price's heroics continued through the third period, but it wasn't enough to completely snuff out the Penguins' attack. With just over five minutes left in the third, Jason Zucker took a tape-to-tape pass from Conor Sheary on a 2-on-1 to beat Price for his first of the postseason, giving the Pens a 2-0 lead.
Rookie forward Jesperi Kotkaniemi cut the lead to one with 2:09 remaining in the tilt, roofing his second goal in as many NHL playoff games over Matt Murray to spoil the Penguins' netminder's shutout bid.

Jake Guentzel finished things off with an empty net goal to give the Penguins a 3-1 win. The Best-of-5 series is now tied 1-1, with Game 3 scheduled for Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m.
