McCarron sent down to Laval, Froese called up from the Rocket

The Canadiens made two personnel moves following their game against the Golden Knights on Tuesday

MONTREAL - The Canadiens sent forward Michael McCarron down to the Laval Rocket and called up forward Byron Froese from the AHL affiliate on Tuesday night.

Named captain of the Rocket on Friday, Froese has recorded three goals for 11 points in 13 games with the Canadiens' minor-league club this season. He has also registered a minus-1 differential.
Recalled from the AHL on October 22, McCarron has played eight games with the Habs in 2017-18, recording no points and 10 penalty minutes.
