MONTREAL - Defenseman Mark Barberio and goaltender Charlie Lindgren will represent the St. John's IceCaps at the 2017 American Hockey League All-Star Game on January 29 and 30 at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA.

Barberio, who was called up to Montreal at the end of November and is still with the big club, leads all IceCaps defensemen with 18 points, despite having missed 14 AHL games. The Montreal-born blue-liner was also selected to take part in the midseason classic last year, but he wasn't able to participate as he was with the Canadiens at the time of the game.
This marks Lindgren's first inclusion on an AHL All-Star roster. The rookie netminder earned his spot in the game thanks to his 13-9 record, which includes a 2.79 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage in 23 games played.
