MONTREAL -- The Canadiens will be wearing special warmup jerseys in conjunction with the 14th edition of the RadioTéléDON tonight.

AUCTION: Nickname Warmup Jerseys
Illustrator Ben Tardif's
unique designs will be on full display when head coach Martin St-Louis' players hit the ice ahead of their matchup against the New York Rangers at the Bell Centre.
The jerseys, which were revealed during a memorable BLEU BLANC BOUGE event at Parc Willibrord in Verdun on Wednesday, will also feature the players' nicknames as well.

Defenseman Mike Matheson will proudly be sporting his "Billy" handle before getting down to business versus Patrick Kane, Artemi Panarin, Vladimir Tarasenko and the rest of the Blueshirts.
"That nickname came from Mike Hoffman. When we were in Florida, he started calling me Billy, like Billy Madison, so Billy Matheson," explained Matheson. "He was the only one in Florida that ever called me that. It never stuck, and then he called me that for the first time here and everybody loved it, so it all of a sudden stuck here."

Youngster Jordan Harris, meanwhile, is affectionately known as "Gary" by his teammates.
But there could be a nickname change on the horizon in his case at some point in the near future.
"It was Harry originally and someone switched it to Gary. I think Gary was just easier than Harry," shared Harris. "Now that we have Guri Denis Gurianov], Guri and Gary get mixed up, so I think I'm back to Harry now."
As for Jake Allen, the classic "Snake" handle remains.
It just never gets old.
"It stemmed from an old wrestler, Jake "The Snake" Roberts. I think most people that are named Jake have a nickname like that. I don't think I'm the only one," mentioned Allen. "It started for me back in St. Louis. Everyone called me Snake and it carried a little bit here. I don't think it has the same weight as it does here, but it still follows me around. It'll be good to wear it on the jersey."
