Canadiens rookie camp: Eight players returned to Junior

Twenty-two players remain at camp, which wraps up on Wednesday in Brossard

The Montreal Canadiens announced on Tuesday that eight players from rookie camp will be returned to their respective Junior teams.

Aleksi Anttalainen (Blainville-Boisbriand, QMJHL), Stephen Dhillon (Niagara, OHL), Cole Fonstad (Prince Albert, WHL), Brandon Hagel (Red Deer, WHL), Cameron Hillis (Guelph, OHL), Samuel Houde (Chicoutimi, QMJHL), Alexander Katerinakis (Blainville-Boisbriand, LHJMQ), and Allan McShane (Oshawa, OHL) are headed back to their Junior squads.

There are still 22 players remaining at rookie camp (12 forwards, 8 defensemen, 2 goaltenders), including three injured players (Jake Evans, Jarret Tyszka, and Scott Walford).

Canadiens rookie camp wraps up Wednesday (September 12), with practice scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard.
