Canadiens recall Jake Evans from Laval

The 23-year-old has one goal in six games with the Canadiens this season

MONTREAL - The Canadiens announced on Monday that they've recalled forward Jake Evans from the AHL's Laval Rocket.

He'll join the team for morning skate on Tuesday.
Evans has played six games for the Habs this season. The Toronto native scored his first career NHL goal on February 10 against the Arizona Coyotes at the Bell Centre.
Since his reassignment to Laval, Evans has recorded two goals for four points in three contests.
The 23-year-old leads the Rocket with 14 goals and 38 points in 51 games this season.
Evans was the Canadiens' seventh-round pick (207th overall) in 2014.
