MONTREAL -- Forwards Owen Beck, Riley Kidney and Joshua Roy were among the
29 players
who earned an invitation to Canada's National Junior Team selection camp on Monday.

The camp will be held from Dec. 9 to 12 at the Avenir Centre in Moncton, NB.
Among the players competing for a roster spot at the 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship in Halifax and Moncton are 10 players who won a gold medal last year in Edmonton, including Kidney and Roy.
The squad will also hold a five-day training camp at the Garcelon Civic Center in St. Stephen, NB from Dec. 14 to 18 in preparation for the event before facing Switzerland, Slovakia and Finland in pre-tournament action.

A second-round selection (33rd overall) in July, Beck has 30 points (15 goals, 15 assists) in 23 games with the OHL's Mississauga Steelheads this season.
A second-round selection (63rd overall) in 2021, Kidney has 41 points (13 goals, 28 assists) in 27 games with the QMJHL's Acadie-Bathurst Titan this year.
A fifth-round selection (150th overall) in 2021, Roy has 42 points (18 goals, 24 assists) in 25 games with the QMJHL's Sherbrooke Phoenix during the current campaign.
