Our look back at the top 10 games of the 2019-20 season is presented by Mimecast
BostonBruins.com - Nobody could have foreseen how drastically things would change following the Bruins' 2-0 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on March 10.
After the victory, the Black & Gold were riding high, becoming the first team in the NHL to reach the 100-point mark. They were just weeks away from the beginning of the postseason, poised for yet another serious run at the Stanley Cup.
But less than 48 hours after the victory, which also featured the 50th shutout of Tuukka Rask's career, the NHL season was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The contest stands as our last look at the 2019-20 Bruins and no one knows when we might see them again. But the win was a stark reminder of the strength of the defending Eastern Conference champions, as they went on the road and snapped the Flyers' nine-game winning streak with smothering defense, stellar goaltender, and timely scoring.
It is a formula that has served the Bruins well without this campaign and one they hope to continue following should the season resume.

Notable Quotes

Tuukka Rask on the Bruins reaching 100 points: "These days it's one of those things, you almost have to get 100 points to make the playoffs. The league is tighter than ever and we're just trying to get a head start early in the season and keep that momentum going the whole year."
Rask on recording his 50th career shutout: "It's a great milestone, I didn't even realize. I've been around for many years, it's one of those things where you play enough games these milestones happen and it's definitely a good one."
Charlie Coyle on Rask's performance: "He's that caliber of goalie. Even in practice, it's tough to score on that guy. The saves he had tonight were so huge. He did his job and we'd like to see it every night and we want to help him out as much as we can. I think we can help him out a little more, but we all have confidence in him."
