UPDATE: Forwards Alexey Toropchenko and Jakub Vrana, who were both gametime decisions, will play in Wednesday's game vs. Minnesota.
Blues Head Coach Craig Berube is set to coach his 500th NHL game Wednesday night against the Minnesota Wild (8:30 p.m., TNT, 101 ESPN).
"It's a pretty big accomplishment," Robert Thomas said. "500 games is awesome, as well as playing in as many as he did."
That tenure will come in handy, as Berube will need to lean on his experience to navigate a lineup with two big question marks.

Forward Alexey Toropchenko did not skate Tuesday during practice, but was present on-ice for the morning skate Wednesday. Berube said Toropchenko is expected to play, but it could come down to a gametime decision. Josh Leivo has been skating in Toropchenko's place on the first line.
Jakub Vrana sustained an injury from a skate blade during practice Wednesday and will be a gametime decision.
"It's a pretty bad cut," Berube said. "He'll come ready to play and we'll see what happens."
With uncertainties on the forward lines, the defense appears to remain the same as Sunday's game versus Vegas.
Here is the projected lineup based on the Blues' previous game:
