DETROIT - The St. Louis Blues will begin a three-game road trip in Detroit on Wednesday night (6 p.m., NBCSN, KMOX) with a big addition to the lineup.
Alexander Steen will return after missing six games with an upper-body injury.

"(I) used the time as well as I could to get myself back to a place where I could play," Steen said after Wednesday's optional morning skate. "I'm extremely excited to get back in."
"He's a well-rounded player in all situations, experience and leadership. It's a lot of good qualities coming back in for us," Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said. "When he's not in the lineup, he's missed."
Because Wednesday's practice was optional, the team did not run lines in practice in Detroit. While subject to change, here is a guess at Wednesday's projected lineup based primarily on Tuesday's team practice at the Ice Zone.
