The preseason has wrapped up and the 50th anniversary season of the St. Louis Blues is upon us.
While the puck officially drops on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at United Center in Chicago, the Blues will return home the next day to begin the home portion of their 2016-17 campaign on Thursday, Oct. 13 vs. the Minnesota Wild at Scottrade Center at 7 p.m.
But the party starts long before that.

The pregame rally at Clark Avenue Plaza starts at 3:30 p.m. Thursday with St. Louis radio stations broadcasting live. At 4:30 p.m., live music from That 80's Band gets underway on the main stage. The rally will also include appearances from Louie, Angella, Patrico and Blue Crew. Plus, fans will be able to take advantage of great food, drink and merchandise specials outside Scottrade Center.
Doors to the arena will open at 5:30 p.m., with the in-arena pre-game show planned for 6:45 p.m. Don't miss out on what promises to be a special night in celebration of the team's 50th anniversary.
A 360° photo will also be taken - capturing all those in attendance. Be in your seats at the end of the first period to take part in this first-ever event at Scottrade Center. We'll notify everyone in attendance once the photo has been completed. Before the game, visit
