Cardinals rookies wore Blues jerseys, hockey gear for annual Rookie Dress Up Day

The #TeamSTL bond is strong, and that connection was on display last weekend for the St. Louis Cardinals' annual Rookie Dress Up Day.
When the team boarded their plane Sunday the rookies traded in the bird on the bat for a Blue Note - complete with hockey socks, breezers, jerseys, gloves and helmets. The players didn't have to look far for their hockey equipment; the Blues loaned the club the gear. With baseball season in the stretch run and hockey season just getting started, it's a great time to be a St. Louis sports fan.
