Blues recall Santini from Springfield

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the team has recalled defenseman Steven Santini from the team's AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds.

Santini will join the team in Denver prior to Game 1.
Santini, 27, dressed in 66 regular-season games for the Thunderbirds this season, collecting 18 points (two goals, 16 assists) and 24 penalty minutes.
Overall, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound defenseman has played in 119 career NHL regular-season games, including three with the Blues, totaling 22 points (five goals, 17 assists) and 55 penalty minutes.
