ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues will play their first home game of the 2017-18 regular season on Saturday, Oct. 7 when they host the Dallas Stars at 7 p.m. at Scottrade Center.
The game will be Ken Hitchcock's first regular-season game against the Blues since taking over as head coach of the Dallas Stars in the offseason. It also will mark the first regular-season game played at Scottrade Center following offseason renovations, which will include a new scoreboard, lighting and sound system.

In addition, the Blues will open the regular season on the road against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at PPG Paints Arena.
