The St. Louis Blues have decided on the Opening Night roster for the start of the 2026-27 regular season, which gets underway on Friday, Oct. 2 against Dallas.
The roster includes a handful of new offseason additions: Mason McTavish, Connor McMichael, Ross Johnston and Brandon Carlo each joined the club via trades or free agency in the summer.
Other new faces include Zach Dean, who makes the club out of training camp for the first time after being acquired in a 2023 trade that sent Ivan Barbashev to the Vegas Golden Knights, and Dillon Dube, a veteran of more than 300 NHL games who joined the organization last season and helped the Springfield Thunderbirds reach the division finals in the Calder Cup Playoffs.
Logan Mailloux and Tyler Tucker will begin the season on injured reserve, leading to the Blues claiming defenseman Justin Barron off waivers from Nashville and recalling 2024 first-round pick Adam Jiricek.
