Dobbs

In advance of next week's annual Women's Sports Report, the Greater Columbus Sports Commission has recognized Blue Jackets senior vice president and chief marketing officer Kathryn Dobbs as one of its Columbus women who inspire them everyday with their commitment to the Columbus sports scene.
From the Sports Commission website:
"Helping lead the Columbus Blue Jackets organization behind-the-scenes is Kathryn Dobbs, who became the senior vice president and chief marketing officer for the Blue Jackets in December. During her tenure as executive director of the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation, the charitable arm of the hockey club experienced record-breaking growth and awarded over $1 million to youth hockey in Central Ohio in each of the last three grant cycles. With Dobbs' help, hockey became more accessible to children, including young girls, across Columbus."

Dobbs has been with the organization since February, 2015, when she was named vice-president of community development and executive director of the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation.
The Greater Columbus Sports Commission's Women's Sports Report is a yearly event that recognizes the best in women's sports in the capital city. This year's event will take place Tuesday.
