While leagues across North America have seen their 2020-21 seasons delayed (with the exception of the QMJHL), several Blackhawks prospects and new signings are in action on loan across Europe.
Let's check in with the hockey that is being played half a world away:

PHILIPP KURASHEV

5 GP, 0G, 4A - HC Lugano (Swiss National League)

In the opening five games of the Swiss League, Kurashev sits second on the team with four assists to his name. Lugano has posted back-to-back shutout wins, their first regulation wins of the year, with Kurashev picking up a point in each.
During Swiss Cup action over the weekend -- a separate tournament that pits teams from all levels against each other to crown a national champion -- Kurashev scored added a hat trick in an 11-1 victory over lower-division side Pikes EHC Oberthurgau.

TIM SODERLUND

9 GP, 2G, 2A - Almtuna IS (HockeyAllsvenskan)

The 2017 fourth-round pick is adapting to the Swedish second division with two assists over his last three games for Almtuna, who sits third in the league with a 5-3-1 record over the opening weeks.

PIUS SUTER

6 GP, 2G, 3A - GCK Lions (Swiss League)

Tied for the team lead in points, Suter has points in three of his last four games (2G, 2A) as GCK looks to climb out of an early season hole, sitting in a relegation spot in the Swiss second division through the opening month with a 2-3-1 record.

MICHAL TEPLY

1 GP, 0 PTS - BK Mlada Boleslav (Czech Extraliga)

The 2019 fourth-round pick has appeared in just one of MladaBoleslav's first four games to open the Czech season, a 4-2 loss to Plzen on Sept. 25.
Brandon Hagel (HC Thurgau) and Matej Chalupa (HK Hradec Kralove) are also on loan but have yet to appear in a game this season
