Two Blackhawks prospects saw their QMJHL championship hopes fall short this weekend, as the Halifax Mooseheads dropped Game 6 to Rouyn-Noranda 4-0 and denied goalie Alexis Gravel and defenseman Jake Ryczek a championship.
The pair of Chicago prospects impressed during the championship series, as Ryczek chipped in two assists and Gravel was outstanding between the pipes, including a 41-save performance in a Game 2 win and a 39-save performance in a losing effort in Game 5.
