New NHL broadcast partners ESPN and TNT announced their full slate of nationally-televised games on Thursday afternoon and 13 Blackhawks games set to air nationwide during the 2021-22 season, including the opening game on Oct. 13 in Colorado.
The national TV breakdowns includes five games on TNT, three on ABC/ESPN, four on ESPN+/Hulu and one on ESPN 3. All 69 other contests will air on NBC Sports Chicago, with the full local broadcast schedule to be announced at a later date.
