Commesso

With the No. 46 overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, the Blackhawks selected U.S. National Team Development Program goalie Drew Commesso during the second round on Wednesday.
Commesso posted an 18-7-1 record for the NTDP's U-18 team last season with a 2.05 goals against average and .920 save percentage. He registered a 3.24 GAA, .886 SV% and added 3 shutouts the year prior as the No. 1 goalie for the U-17 team.

A native of Norwell, Mass., Commesso is committed to play at Boston University when the NCAA season begins. He is the highest-selected netminder by the Blackhawks since 2010 (Kent Simpson, 58th overall).
