Blackhawks statement on Ken Wharram

The Blackhawks have released the following statement on the passing of Ken Wharram:

"Kenny Wharram will always be remembered as an important member of this decorated franchise and we are grateful to have him in the Blackhawks family. A member of the 1961 Stanley Cup Championship team, Ken was one of the most consistent scorers throughout his Blackhawks career. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Wharram family as we mourn his loss."

Wharram played his entire 14-year National Hockey League career with Chicago and is one of only 11 players to score more than 250 goals wearing a Blackhawks sweater. He played 766 games with the Blackhawks and tallied 252 goals with 281 assists.
