Kunin goal

ST. PAUL --Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Luke Kunin (pronounced KUNN-nihn) from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Kunin, 20 (12/4/97), has tallied 19 points (10-9=19) including five power-play goals and 34 penalty minutes (PIM) in 36 games with Iowa this season. He represented Iowa at the 2018 AHL All-Star Game.
The 6-foot, 193-pound native of Chesterfield, Mo., has recorded four points (2-2=4) and 32 hits in 17 contests with Minnesota this season averaging 13:14 in TOI/game. Kunin made his NHL debut against Columbus on Oct. 14 and recorded two assists for his first career NHL points at Calgary on Oct. 21.
He tallied his first career NHL goal on Oct. 26 against the New York Islanders to become the first player in team history to score his first career NHL goal shorthanded.
Kunin was selected by the Wild in the first round (15th overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft and wears sweater No. 19 with Minnesota.
