About the Stars
The Stars (27-30-10) lost 5-2 to Ottawa Wednesday at American Airlines Center. The loss kept the Stars from a third straight win, something they've been able to achieve only once this season.
"We haven't been able to go on a streak, and that's why we are where we are," said Stars center Jason Spezza. You have to ride the wave when you're winning games and string five or six games together to make up ground in the standings. We haven't been able to do that, and that was something we were able to do last year, and it's been incredibly frustrating."
The Stars are 5-3-0 in their past eight games.
Forward Ales Hemsky, who missed Friday's practice, was back on the ice for practice Saturday morning.
Sunday's game kicks off a four-game road trip for the Stars.
Injuries: LW Antoine Roussel (hand) is out. C/LW Mattias Janmark (knee) is on injured reserve.

About the Sharks
The Sharks (40-20-7) lost 3-1 to Nashville in San Jose Saturday afternoon. San Jose scored first, but the Predators scored the next three, including a late empty-net goal to seal the victory.
"We're disappointed we didn't win because we had the chances," said Sharks captain Joe Pavelski. "There were a few breakdowns in the second where we got caught trading chances a little bit, but with the looks we had you don't know how you don't get more than one goal.**
