Martin Hanzal will be donning a familiar number for the Stars this season.

The veteran center will switch from No. 10 to No. 11 in 2018-19, the team announced Monday. Hanzal previously wore No. 11 during his decade-long run with the Arizona Coyotes, who selected him 17th overall in the 2005 NHL Draft.

The 31-year-old Hanzal finished with five goals and five assists in 38 games with the Stars last season. He is expected to return to game action for Dallas in late November or early December,
general manager Jim Nill told DallasStars.com last month
, as he continues to recover from spinal fusion surgery in March.
Curtis McKenzie wore No. 11 for the Stars last season, but departed the organization to sign with the Vegas Golden Knights as an unrestricted free agent in July.
