Stars sign center Oskar Back to three-year, entry-level contract

The 21-year-old was originally selected by Dallas with the 75th overall pick in the third round of the 2018 NHL Draft

FRISCO, Texas -- Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has signed center Oskar Backto a three-year, entry level contract.

Back, 21, recorded 14 points (4-10=14) in 52 regular season games played for Farjestad BK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He also added one goal (1-0=1) in six postseason contests.

At the international level, he has represented Sweden at two World Junior Championships (2019, 2020) and two U-18 World Junior Championships (2017, 2018).

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound native of Karlstad, Sweden was originally selected by Dallas in the third round (75th overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft.
