The Dallas Stars will make a few lineup changes tonight as they set their sights on ending a three-game skid when they take on the Los Angeles Kings at American Airlines Center (7:30 p.m. CT; FS-SW; KTCK).
As expected, forward Jason Dickinson will come back into the lineup tonight after missing the past eleven games with a back injury. Dickinson will center the team's second line with recently acquired Andrew Cogliano on the left wing and Jason Spezza on the right.
"Excited. Ready to go," Dickinson said after this morning's skate at the AAC. "It's been a long three weeks, but I am ready to go."

Forward Valeri Nichushkin is out tonight with an upper-body injury he suffered in Tuesday's game against Tampa Bay, so Brett Ritchie will come into the lineup after being a healthy scratch the last four games. Ritchie will play on the fourth line with Roope Hintz and Mattias Janmark.
The top line of Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin, and Alexander Radulov stays together as does the line of Blake Comeau, Radek Faksa, and Tyler Pitlick.

Dickinson returns to Stars' lineup to face Kings

On defense, Connor Carrick will play tonight after sitting out the past three games and six of the last seven as a healthy scratch. Carrick has played just two games since coming off injured reserve due to a broken foot that sidelined him two months. Carrick is expected to play with Taylor Fedun tonight on the third pair. The top four are expected to stay the same with the pairs of Esa Lindell-John Klingberg and Miro Heiskanen-Roman Polak.
Julius Honka will be the scratch on defense.
Ben Bishop gets the start in goal tonight. He is 15-11-2 and ranks third in the league in goals against average (2.39) and sixth in save percentage (.922).
The Stars (23-20-4) come into tonight's game with losses in three straight games and four of their last five. They've dropped the first two games of a four-game homestand that takes them into their bye week and the NHL All-Star break. Tonight, they 'll look to build on the positive aspects of Tuesday's game against Tampa Bay in which they played well, created chances but couldn't crack Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy in a 2-0 defeat.
"The last game what we want to take is we want to play with that pace, that same urgency," Stars coach Jim Montgomery said. "I thought we skated and worked really hard and that led to a lot of possession time."

Opposition Watch: Ex-Star Campbell to start in goal for Kings

The Kings (18-25-4) are coming off a 3-2 shootout loss at Minnesota on Tuesday. Jeff Carter's goal with 2:30 left in regulation forced extra playing time, but the Wild's Jason Zucker scored the only goal of the shootout to hand the Kings their third loss in the last four games (1-2-1) and sixth in the last nine (3-5-1).
Jack Campbell was the first goaltender off the ice for the Kings this morning, so he is the expected starter tonight. Campbell, the former first-round pick of the Stars, is 5-9-0 and leads the NHL in save percentage (.930) and ranks second in goals against average (2.21).
Campbell, who was selected 11th overall by the Stars in the 2010 NHL Draft, spent four years in the Dallas minor-league system and played one NHL game for the Stars before being traded to the Kings for defenseman Nick Ebert in June 2016.
"I always remember being drafted by Dallas and some of my friends and teammates," Campbell told Curtis Zupke of the Los Angeles Times Wednesday. "Obviously it's a great city. There's some good fans here that supported me and still do. I appreciate that, but obviously I've been with L.A. now for quite a while and it definitely feels like home, so it's fun to come in here with this group, and it will be fun to be back in that building."
Tonight will be Campbell's first game against the Stars, something he pondered yesterday.
"That would kind of be the icing on the cake as far as turning the page, which I feel like I've done," Campbell told the Times. "It's just kind of the last thing -- playing those guys -- and it would be fun to play against some of the top players, Seguin and Benn and all those guys.
"Anytime I'm here, it's fun to beat them, that's for sure."
