Sharks Camp Snapshot is a quick chance to catch up with the guys from what they've done over the summer break to where their focus is entering Training Camp ahead of the 2016-17 season.
Check in with Joe Thornton and learn about his offseason tv shows and his World Cup experience.
What was your favorite memory from last season?
Winning the Western Conference. It was incredible. To win it at home in front of the fans was great - the love and the excitement in the building was a moment I'll never forget.
Where did you go on vacation this season?
I didn't go on any big vacations this summer. I just went back to Canada and Switzerland to see family and then came back here. It was a quick but good offseason.

Any good movies, TV shows, or books you watched or read during the offseason?
Yea I've been really into the show Ray Donovan. I've also been watching Game of Thrones and am all caught up now. GOT was too short, I want to watch more of it - can't wait for the next season to start. But yeah, my wife and I are are really into Ray Donovan right now and have been watching it every night once we get the kids to sleep.
Teammate you missed most in the offseason?
All the guys of course. I love seeing them all. If I had to pick one though probably Tommy Wingels - I enjoy him a lot. He's a super guy.
What is your individual focus for training camp and this season?
My goal is to stay healthy and play hard every night.
What are you looking forward to most this season?
I'm looking forward to getting the group ready for the regular season. I'm excited to get on the road together and develop a good bond with the guys again. We have mostly the same guys as last year so it shouldn't be too hard
How was your World Cup experience?
The World Cup was an amazing experience. I had a super time. It was a great group of guys and winning it all made the whole experience even better.
