Zrim will oversee the team's salary cap and issues related to Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) compliance. In 2015, Zrim founded the website CapFriendly, which tracks NHL team's transactions, player contracts and salaries, draft selections and several other pieces of information regarding the business side of the sport. He previously worked with the Chicago Blackhawks during the 2021-22 season as the team's manager of hockey strategy, assisting the team with cap, contracts, and formulating strategy.
Bernstein will be primarily tasked with acquiring, analyzing and refining the team's analytics data. Previously, he worked with Middlebury College as an assistant coach and director of hockey operations until his graduation in 2021. He has also consulted with the Chicago Steel (USHL) and Metropolitan Riveters (NWHL), leading both teams' analytic efforts. Prior to joining the Sharks, he worked as a strategy consultant for Accenture Federal Services.
Uhnak will serve as a European scout, with primary responsibilities in the Czech, Slovakian, German and Swiss leagues. Prior to joining San Jose, Uhnak served three seasons in the role of general manager for Philosophers Nitra of the European University Hockey League. As a player, Uhnak skated in 13 seasons at various levels of professional Slovakian hockey and spent three seasons in the Federal Hockey League in North America. He represented Slovakia at the 2007-08 Ivan Hlinka Memorial, posting three points with a goal and two assists in four games.
Ward spent the 2021-22 season as video coach for the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League. The Wolves finished as the League's top regular season team and captured the Calder Cup Championship. Previously, he spent four seasons as a coordinator/student manager for Canisius College Men's Ice Hockey (Atlantic), where he earned a degree in sports management. During the 2014-15 season, he worked as volunteer video coordinator with Adler Mannheim (DEL), who also finished as the League's top regular season team, culminating with a DEL Championship.
Ganz returns to the Sharks organization after serving as the Barracuda's strength and conditioning coordinator in the 2015-16 season and working in various roles in strength and conditioning under Potenza from 2012-14. He will assist DiLustro in tracking player fitness, collecting on-ice skating data, and off-ice workout and regeneration sessions during the season. Prior to his return to the organization, Ganz spent three seasons as the strength and conditioning coach for the Bakersfield Condors in the American Hockey League (AHL).
