The Buffalo Sabres and New York Rangers will go head-to-head for the last time in 2020-21.
The Rangers won Sunday's matchup 6-3 and hold a 5-1-1 edge in the season series. Buffalo is 2-3-2 against New York through seven matchups.
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is expected to get the start for Buffalo. He won in his NHL debut on Friday, becoming the sixth goaltender in franchise history to win his first career start with the Sabres (and the first since Mika Noronen on October 5, 2000).

Faceoff from Madison Square Garden is scheduled for 7 p.m. on MSG and WGR 550. Pregame coverage on MSG starts at 6:30.

The Buffalo Sabres are giving fans the opportunity to vote for the recipient of the Rick Martin Memorial Award. Starting this season, "The Rico" will be presented annually to the player whom fans believe best embodies what it means to be a Buffalo Sabre.
Fans are encouraged to vote for the player they believe best demonstrates on-ice excellence, resiliency, and a dedication to the community.
The first round of voting has closed and the five Sabres with the most votes will be revealed today.
Later today, fans can visit Sabres.com/RicoVote to cast their ballots in the final round of voting. Polls close Friday.
