Though the games have been paused, the Buffalo Sabres are continuing their annual support of the NHL's Hockey Fights Cancer month throughout November.
The Sabres have partnered with Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center for a series of initiatives to raise funds and awareness toward cancer research, with a special emphasis on celebrating the life of Sabres legend Dale Hawerchuk, who died in August following a courageous battle with stomach cancer.
The Sabres will still hold their annual Hockey Fights Cancer game when the 2020-21 season begins.
Here is a breakdown of the month's initiatives.
