FOUR MORE - The Blueshirts have scored 27 goals over their last six games and four or more goals in six of their last eight contests. When scoring four or more goals, New York is 30-0-0 and one of two teams in the NHL (VGK) to have a perfect such record. Tonight was 14th time this season the Blueshirts have scored six-plus goals in a game, tied for the second most in the NHL.

  • Mika Zibanejad matched his career-high in points (set last year) with 81 on the year. He becomes the fourth Rangers player in the past 25 years to record consecutive 80-point seasons. The others: Artemi Panarin (2021-22 - 2022-23), Jaromir Jagr (2005-06 - 2006-07) and Wayne Gretzky (1996-97 - 1997-98). Zibanejad and Panarin become the third pair of teammates in Rangers history to simultaneously post consecutive 80-point campaigns following Rod Gilbert and Steve Vickers (1974-75 - 1975-76) as well as Gilbert and Jean Ratelle (1971-72 - 1972-73).
    - Artemi Panarin scored his 25th goal of the year and sixth on the power play before adding an assist. Panarin has points in six of his last eight games (5G-6A) and 11 of his last 15 games (7G-12A). Tonight marked his 22nd multi-point game of the season and 97th since 2019-20, the fifth most in the NHL.
    - Vincent Trocheckjoined Kreider, Zibanejad, Chytil and Panarin to hit the 20-goal mark this season. The last season to feature five different 20-goal scorers for the Ranger was 2015-16 (Derick Brassard, Mats Zuccarello, J.T. Miller, Derek Stepan and Chris Kreider). New York has only had three seasons with five different 20-goal scorers in the last 20 years: 2015-16, 2010-11 and 2006-07.
    - Alexis Lafreniere recorded his 20th (and later 21st) assist of the season and became the second Rangers player in the past 10 years to record 20 assists in a season at age 22 or younger, joining Adam Fox (25 in 2019-20).
    -Igor Shesterkin earned his 34th win of the season, tied for the second most in the NHL, and has won seven of his last eight games.
    - Adam Fox notched his 55th assist of the season, giving him points in seven of his last eight games (1G-6A) and 15 in his last 20 contests. His 55 assists are the third most among NHL defensemen.
    - Patrick Kane tallied a goal in a second-straight game and has nine points (5G-4A) in his last 11 contests.
    - Vladimir Tarasenko scored his fourth goal with the Blueshirts. He has points in five of his last seven games (2G-4A) and 11 points in his last 13 games (4G-7A).
    -Filip Chytilscored his 22nd goal of the year and third in his last five games (3G-1A).
