The Oilers depart for a three-game road swing that begins Thursday in Nashville. As road warriors, the team is an impressive 15-7-5 away from Rogers Place.

"I don't know if I can put my finger on it, but I think on the road sometimes you keep things a little more simple," said Oilers centre Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. "You just kind of go out there, work hard and play that simple game. We've kind of been doing that all season on the road and that's the way we need to play at all times."
After their match with the Predators, the Oilers will square off against the Carolina Hurricanes and Montreal Canadiens.
The team will look to recalibrate as the visiting team after Tuesday's 5-2 drop to the Minnesota Wild and bring their hopeful road success back home.
"We can't get away from that at home," said Nugent-Hopkins.
