EDMONTON, AB -The Oilers signed Milan Lucic to a seven-year contract in free agency with a big role in mind alongside Team Captain Connor McDavid. While the two were paired together at times during the season, it was Pat Maroon who saw more success on the left wing with the League's leading scorer.
With that being said, don't rule out Lucic seeing more time with McDavid. It's a pair Todd McLellan and company will explore.
