Oilers Captain Connor McDavid is ranked the top centreman in the National Hockey League by the NHL Network.
McDavid, who recorded 30 goals and 70 assists to lead the League in scoring with 100 points last season, edged out Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby for the No. 1 spot.

Evgeni Malkin, Auston Matthews and Nicklas Backstrom rounded out the rest of the top five, while Leon Draisaitl came in at No. 15.
McDavid becomes the second Oiler to rank in the top 10 by the NHL Network, as goaltender Cam Talbot was pegged the seventh-best goalie in the League a few weeks ago.
