PITTSBURGH, PA -It's a burning question for the Edmonton Oilers, so Head Coach Todd McLellan opened his media availability by answering it before taking any others.
Both injured forwards Leon Draisaitl and Drake Caggiula are questionable for tomorrow's tilt with the Penguins, despite fully participating in practice.
They're close, but not yet cleared to play.
"Leon and Drake both look good, they feel good but they both have a number of hurdles to cross before they get cleared to play in tomorrow's game," said McLellan. "We're anticipating that could happen, but before they say they're in or out, I don't have enough information right now to tell you that."
"I'm anticipating they're going to be cleared, but I'm not in a position to clear them for that. We don't know how they're going to feel after practice or how they're going to feel in the morning and what the doctors will decide. It all comes down to that."
