Each was acquired by the Oilers in separate trades on Sunday; Petrovic from the Florida Panthers for defenseman Chris Wideman and a third-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft and Manning and defenseman Robin Norell from the Chicago Blackhawks for forward Drake Caggiula and defenseman Jason Garrison.
The Oilers, who look to end a season-long five-game losing streak (0-5-0) have been outscored 25-12 during their skid. They look to avoid losing six straight for the first time since Feb. 7-17 last season (0-6-0).
Goalie Mikko Koskinen will start; he's 11-6-1 with a 2.52 goals-against average in 19 games (18 starts) this season, but has lost his past three starts.
The Jets try to avoid their third consecutive defeat (0-2-0) after going 11-2-0 in their previous 13 games. Winnipeg has scored one goal in four of its past five games.
Goalie Connor Hellebuyck will start and try for his 100th NHL win.

Jets center Mark Scheifele has 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) in his past 10 games, with multipoints in six of them.
Oilers center Connor McDavid has seven points (two goals, five assists) in a three-game multipoint streak.
