Shesterkin, Gretzky hang in Rangers locker room after Game 3 win
Hockey legend who spent three seasons with Rangers takes in game vs. Hurricanes

Igor Shesterkin played great in Game 3. Then he had a meeting with The Great One.
Wayne Gretzky, was in attendance for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Second Round between the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. Gretzky was at the arena with his wife, Janet. They were cheered on by fans when shown on the MSG scoreboard.
Gretzky played three seasons with the Rangers. From 1996-99, he played 234 games in New York, posting 57 goals and 192 assists. After the game, Gretzky headed to the locker room to talk with Shesterkin, who made 43 saves in the Rangers 3-1 victory. Shesterkin shared a photo of him and Gretzky on Instagram.
