What kind of holiday present can you get the Washington Capitals fan who has everything? Perhaps a 2017 calendar with players and puppies or a Capitals Holiday Pack would do the trick.
Washington is unveiling the 2017 Caps Canine Calendar, featuring forwards Alex Ovechkin and T.J. Oshie and goalie Braden Holtby among others posing with adorable dogs in front of D.C. landmarks. The calendar, which will be sold in team stores and online beginning on Friday, will cost $20 with 100 percent of proceeds going to Homeward Trails Animal Rescue, a nonprofit organization that seeks to find permanent homes for cats and dogs in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Taylor Winnik, the wife of Capitals forward Daniel Winnik, took the photos. Winnik, Ovechkin, Oshie, and Holtby will be joined by forwards Lars Eller, Andre Burakovsky, Marcus Johansson, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Tom Wilson, Brett Connolly and defensemen Karl Alzner, Matt Niskanen, Nate Schmidt, Taylor Chorney and John Carlson in the calendar.
If you like the calendar but want more, a two-game
Capitals Holiday Pack
, which comes with an Ovechkin bobblehead doll that counts his career point total, would work nicely.

Fans will receive one doll for every two-game pack they purchase and will have 16 Capitals home games at Verizon Center in 2017 to choose from. Plans start at $98 and orders must be placed by Dec. 15 and received by Dec. 22.
