It may only be rookie camp, but a win is a win for the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Golden Knights partied hard on social media after defeating the rival Los Angeles Kings rookies 4-0 in El Segundo, California, on Wednesday, for their first win in franchise history.

Vegas capped its rookie camp with the second of a two-game series against the Kings rookies. It also closed two days of trash talk between the teams' Twitter accounts, which the Golden Knights also seemed to win.

The Golden Knights can't actually earn their first victory until Sunday, when they play a preseason game against the Vancouver Canucks (5 p.m. ET; NHLN, SN, TVA Sports, ATTSN-RM), and won't officially be in the record books until they play their regular-season opener at the Dallas Stars on Oct. 6.
