A new NHL season may be upon us but the Vegas Golden Knights are still the champions until its conclusion and, for fans, that means reaping the benefits for the time being.

The Stanley Cup showed up at the team's practice facility, City National Arena, during the 2023 IIIF World Girls’ Ice Hockey Weekend.

Young players got an up-close look at The Greatest Trophy in All of Sports, posing for pictures and seeing the Cup for themselves in all its glory.

The IIHF has put on the World Girls' Ice Hockey Weekend each year since 2011 and gives girls of all ages the opportunity to try ice hockey while being introduced to basic skills in a positive, fun and safe environment. Players also learn about fair play, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
