Hockey's Holy Grail meets golf trophy before international tournament gets underway

It’s a par-tee at the Bethpage Black Golf Course this week with the Ryder Cup starting up, and the Stanley Cup didn’t want to miss out.

Over the weekend, before the international golf tournament got underway at the New York golf course, hockey's Holy Grail spent a day checking out the course along with the Ryder Cup trophy.

The two spectacular trophies were photographed together on the picturesque course as part of the Florida Panthers' Stanley Cup celebrations.

The Ryder Cup is a biennial golf tournament with the best players from the United States facing off against the best players from Europe. The tournament starts Friday and runs until Sunday.

Looks like the Cup thinks everything is up to par for the competition.
