2026 Stadium Series Pregame

TAMPA -- It felt a lot like hockey weather in Tampa Bay on Sunday.

Hockey fans enjoyed the 2026 NHL PreGame festival before the 2026 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Boston Bruins at Raymond James Stadium.

Lightning and Bruins fans had a wide array of activities to choose from, including taking a picture with the Stanley Cup, practicing their shot accuracy and watching a performance by country music duo LOCASH.

Lord Stanley was the main attraction with a long line of fans eagerly waiting to get a picture with the trophy and also with its keeper, Philip Pritchard.

Bruins fans Jeff and Lisa Brissette, and their two sons, Jeff and Jacob, traveled from Plymouth, Massachusetts to attend the game. It was the perfect opportunity, since Jacob is the lone Lightning fan in the family.

“It’s amazing,” the Brissettes said of the fan fest. “The NHL does so much for fans. We go to a Tampa game every time we come down here. And we go to the [TD] Garden all the time.”

Brian McCormick watched his 10-year-old son, Max, play on the rink. The Lightning fan, who came from Fort Myers, loved the pregame festivities and was most excited to watch outdoor hockey in Florida.

“Seeing the inside, seeing the game, seeing the rink outside and seeing the Bolts,” McCormick said. “It’s a cool experience.”
