Evan Bouchard dumped the puck off to Connor McDavid in his own zone, and the Edmonton Oilers captain handled the rest.

During the first period of Tuesday’s game against the Utah Mammoth, McDavid showed off his speed and puck handling, gliding down the length of the ice, past the Utah defense and straight to the net for the Edmonton score.

The goal gave the Oilers the lead at the time, but a Mammoth comeback eventually gave Utah a 6-5 overtime win, helping solidify their spot as the current No. 1 Wild Card in the Western Conference with five games left to play.

All that on the debut of the Mammoth’s epic new Zamboni, Zammoth.
