MR. 900
Blake Wheeler continues to produce for the Jets and posted his 53rd three-point game with the Jets franchise and that moved him one game behind Ilya Kovalchuk for the most in franchise history. Wheeler's third point in Ottawa last night gave him 900 for his career. He's just the third player from the 2004 draft class to reach 900 points, joining Alex Ovechkin and Evgeni Malkin. Wheeler is the 15th American-born player to tally 900 points in his NHL career and just the fourth active American player to do so. Wheeler's line with Mark Scheifele and Nikolaj Ehlers combined for nine points in the 5-1 win over the Senators on Saturday.

SPECIAL TEAMS
Winnipeg has been leaning heavily on their special teams lately, even after scoring three of their five goals five-on-five last night in Ottawa. Last night, they went 2-for-8 with the man advantage and have scored at least one power play goal in five straight games. Their penalty kill has truly been the difference maker shutting down the Senators red hot power play. The Jets are 35-for-37 (94.6%) on the penalty kill in their past 12 games, including a perfect 18-for-18 in the past six games. It's Winnipeg's third streak of least four games without allowing a power play goal this season.
FLYERS CHALLENGE
The Jets will have their hands full with the Flyers who also played last night (2-1 at Detroit), Philadelphia is 9-3-0 in their last 12 games. John Tortorella has the Flyers leading the league in hits (1,362) and blocked shots (819), they are a hard team to play against. The Jets will have to make sure they keep their heads up and feet moving when they shoot the puck.
