START OFF RIGHT
The last two road trips, the Jets have started things off the right way with the wins in Sunrise and Nashville respectively. Considering how important each game is right now, the pressure is on to get the win tonight in Anaheim with the Los Angeles Kings waiting for them on Saturday afternoon. According to Moneypuck.com, the Jets have a 72% chance of making the playoffs. Rick Bowness doesn't feel the pressure comes off entirely should the Jets beat the Ducks tonight though.
"The pressure won't come off until we get an "x" by our name. That's the reality of it," said Bowness after the morning skate at Honda Center.
"Every road trip you start out, you want to get that first win. It's important. But at this time of year when there's only ten games left, the pressure will be on until we clinch a playoff spot."

TAKE 1ST AND 3rd PERIODS FROM TUESDAY
The Jets won on Tuesday, but it wasn't easy at all. Arizona really took it to them scoring their only goal of the game in the second period and outshooting Winnipeg 18-3. The first and third periods were excellent for the Jets, who understand what they look like when they are playing well and hope to take that into tonight's game against the Ducks.
"They know how to get back to the identity of our team, which they did in the third period (Tuesday)," said Bowness.
"Give Arizona some credit. Maybe they are better that people give them credit for. But give our team credit for fighting back and controlling that third period like we did."
DUCKS PLAYING LOOSE
The Ducks were officially eliminated from postseason contention earlier this week. Much like the Blues, Anaheim's forwards will be leaving the defensive zone early once they get possession of the puck. They will be looking for breakaways and odd man rushes all night long. The Jets forwards will have to make sure that they are pressuring Anaheim's defence to take away their time and not allow the long passes to the likes of Zegras, McTavish and Strome.
