LINEUP CHANGES
After a high event 7-5 win over the Oilers on Saturday night, Rick Bowness was happy to see that he will get a couple of his regular forwards back tonight. Both Pierre-Luc Dubois (LBI) and Mason Appleton (UBI) took part of the morning skate and will suit up for the Jets tonight against the San Jose Sharks. Dubois who missed three games will centre Blake Wheeler and Nikolaj Ehlers and take his spot on the team's top power play unit. Meanwhile, Appleton skated on the right side of Kevin Stenlund and Saku Maenalanen. Nate Schmidt is also returning after being a healthy scratch on Saturday and will skate with Dylan Samberg. David Rittich will start for the first time since February 26.

MO GOALS FOR MORRISSEY
The Jets elite players stepped up on Saturday including defenceman Josh Morrissey who recorded a three-point game (2G, 1A) in the win over Edmonton. Morrissey, who is now up to 15 goals on the season had his fourth multi-goal game of the 2022-23 season. Over the past 20 seasons, only Mike Green in 2008-09 have more multi-goal games by a defenceman than Morrissey. The 27-year-old needs five more goals to tie Dustin Byfuglien for the most in a season by a defenceman in franchise history and has 18 more games to break that mark.
NO LET DOWN
Clearly a sold-out Canada Life Centre on a Saturday night and a chance to get revenge on the Oilers for a 6-3 loss in Edmonton the night before fired up the Jets and helped them end their five-game winless streak. Now the Jets have to do it all over again facing the second worst team in the Western Conference, the San Jose Sharks. Rick Bowness said the team woke up Sunday morning in third place in the Central Division and then woke up this morning in the second wild card spot in the West. That should provide all the incentive the Jets players will need to get to their game early against a team that will be in the Connor Bedard sweepstakes later this spring.
