Tampa Bay Lightning Game 5

TAMPA --Alex Killorn expects the Tampa Bay Lightning to have a must-win mentality against the Boston Bruins in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Second Round at Amalie Arena on Sunday (3 p.m. ET; NBC, CBC, TVAS).
The Lightning lead the best-of-7 series 3-1 and would advance to the Eastern Conference Final for the third time in the past four seasons with a win.

After winning two games in Boston and three straight in the series, Killorn said the Lightning have to take advantage of the chance to eliminate the Bruins as quickly as possible.
"It'd be nice," said Killorn, who had the primary assist on Dan Girardi's overtime goal in a 4-3 win in Game 4 at Boston on Friday. "There's definitely an opportunity we have to end the series and I think it has to be looked at that way because this is Boston. That's a great team, and you go back to Boston, you give them a chance to get back in the series and you never know what can happen."

The Bruins lost four straight games once this season (Nov. 8-15).
Tampa Bay will have history on its side. They have won all five previous Stanley Cup Playoff series they have led 3-1, and in four of those ended it in Game 5.
The Lightning are 6-5 under coach Jon Cooper when they can close out a playoff series, including 5-3 at home. Cooper said previous playoff experience should increase the sense of urgency to end the series Sunday.
He mentioned the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs when the Lightning had an opportunity to eliminate the New York Rangers at home in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final and lost (7-3). They won the series in seven games but lost to the Chicago Blackhawks in six games in the Stanley Cup Final after having a 2-1 series lead.
"Maybe we got by in 2015 with a little bravado, we kind of ran with that, we don't know any better," Cooper said. "But Chicago knew better and, in the end, they got us. We just hope that we can use the experience we gained from those previous experiences to our benefit now."
